Man on Wire

I saw Man on Wire this weekend and if you haven't seen it, I definitely recommend it. It's a documentary about this French man, Philippe Petit, who wire walks between the twin towers in New York back in 1974. It's amazing how much footage they have and the photos are beautiful. There's a part where Philippe is out on the wire, in the center, he looks down, but he's still totally calm and relaxed and at peace. I can't even imagine that. It's an amazing story. I'm thinking I might change my type animation to a clip from this movie. It's so inspiring to me.

To Kill A Mockingbird: International Posters

I was looking through my movie collection over the weekend and I found the Legacy Series Edition of To Kill a Mockingbird I had bought a while ago and I totally forgot that it includes cards (really nice card stock and the printing quality is great) with the various theatrical posters used to promote the film in different countries. It's really interesting to see how a film is marketed to different cultures.

Thinking About Movie Trailers

I just saw Revolutionary Road this weekend and it was intense to say the least. The acting was amazing. I thought this trailer was well done too. The chosen clips and editing are dead on.
